Doc A:  ACS General Employee Duties/Expectation

The following is a list of basic duties/expectations we have of all ACS employees:

  • Complete all necessary new employee paperwork.

  • Participate in/Graduate ACS training.

  • Vehicle and license or the ability to get from job to job on your own.

    • This may mean that you need to use a bus, Uber, cab, or pay a fellow employee to provide rides. Whatever the case, it is YOUR responsibility to make the arrangements so that you can arrive on time.

  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job.

  • Availability

    • Whether you are full time or part-time, we need to know when you will be available and when you won’t. Once you declare hours of availability, you will be scheduled jobs accordingly.

      • You must report changes in availability to the office and/or your team lead or manager as soon as you know them.

        • If you have already been scheduled for a job and become unavailable, you may need to find another employee willing to trade a shift or fill in for you. Failure to do so may be considered a no-call/no-show.

      • It is expected that you schedule appointments outside of your scheduled jobs…and report them to be marked on your schedule as unavailable so no new jobs will be scheduled during that time.

      • When reporting changes in availability it is wise to actual talk to an office personnel and manager to be certain the message is received.

  • Abide by ACS handbook and ACS training procedures.

    • Follow instructions and orders given by ACS Team Lead/managers.

    • Clock in/out appropriately for all jobs.

      • Clock in when arriving at the job site/clock out when leaving the job site.

        • Person(s) picking up supplies and equipment can clock in and out at the office.

  • Make sure electronic devices relying on batteries are fully charged before heading to the job (cell phone, tablet, drills, wand vac, etc.)

  • Take Before Pictures at every job site before beginning the work unless instructed differently for client confidentiality reasons.

  • Use the ACS Portal appropriately.

  • Complete all task assignments and indicate completion on Portal and/or paperwork.

    • Assist ACS Team Lead/Manager throughout the assigned job by being on time, transporting supplies and equipment as needed, using the ACS Portal, etc.

    • Communicate!... with other team members and/or the ACS Office and/or clients regarding issues encountered including:

      • Time delays

      • Damages

      • Employee issues

      • Biohazards

      • Project time extensions

      • Additional Duties required above and beyond the checklist to complete the job in a satisfactory manner

  • Have Team Lead/Manager inspect job quality up as needed/instructed.

  • Participate in inspecting tasks completed by other team members.

  • Take After Pictures.

  • Monitor your schedule at the end of the day for the rest of the week for any changes.

    • Report to the ACS Office and your Team Lead/Manager when you will not be available for additional assignments during the week.

      • Report should be made as soon as a potential conflict of availability is known.
